Cheatsheets

Every course gets a one-page recap. It is written back over the transcript as the points worth remembering, rather than as a summary of what each section covered: definitions, figures, and the mistakes the speaker warns about, one line each, with a timestamp that opens the video at that moment.

When It Is Written

It is queued as soon as the course is saved and written in the background after the course page has opened, so it is usually ready by the time you want it. Until then the link to it shows a spinner.

If writing it failed, opening the cheatsheet asks for it again.

Saving It

Two buttons on the cheatsheet page:

  • PNG: saves the sheet as an image.
  • PDF: saves it as A4 pages, cut between sections rather than through one wherever a section will fit.

Both are drawn on Parcourse paper, and both are drawn light whichever theme you are reading in, since a saved sheet is read wherever it ends up.
